As always, last month’s winners are not eligible: AJ, Jerry, and Mark took the August podium at Ridge, so they’re sitting this one out — though their times will still show up on the board.

Another ND track mod, and another “local” track — though local is doing some work here. Oregon Raceway Park is out in Grass Valley, four or five hours from Eugene on the dry side of the mountains. It’s a very different flavor from Ridge: high desert, wide open, and a layout that rolls over the terrain instead of fighting it. We’re running it clockwise.

One thing to watch: ORP has a few bypasses and escape roads, and Assetto Corsa will only register a lap if you stay on the full course. There aren’t any cones marking them off, so it’s easy to take one without realizing it and wonder why your lap never showed up. Ask a steward if you’re not sure which way to go — we’ll get some screenshots posted in the shop to make it obvious.

The Tatuus FA01 is a proper formula car: light, open-wheel, and quick to change direction, with enough grip to carry real speed through the fast stuff. It rewards precision over aggression, which suits a track this flowing.

Brando hasn’t set an official time yet, but par should land somewhere in the neighborhood of 1:38 to 1:40.

Like last month, this month we will allow unlimited attempts with a 30% discount on the first attempt. Don’t forget to let the steward know before you pay so we can apply the discount!

Second place receives a gift card for five (5) free hours, and third place receives one (1) free hour. Free hours are valid only during the month of October with no additional discount.

Previous month’s winners are not eligible to win, but everyone’s time will still appear on the leaderboard! That means our August champions can’t win in September but can still compete for bragging rights.
