We’re kicking off our first monthly Race Night on Wednesday, April 15, and we couldn’t be more excited about it. This is something we’ve been wanting to do for a while — a dedicated evening where the focus shifts from hotlaps and personal bests to actual wheel-to-wheel racing against other drivers.

RSVP on our booking page to reserve your spot!

What to Expect

The evening starts at 6:30 PM and follows a structured race format:

  • Practice (15 minutes) — Get comfortable with the car and track combo. Learn the braking points, find a rhythm, and shake off the rust from your day.
  • Qualifying (15 minutes) — Set your fastest lap to determine your grid position. This is where the pressure starts to build.
  • Race (30 minutes) — Lights out and away we go. Clean, competitive racing with other drivers on track.

All in, expect about an hour of seat time across the sessions. The track and car will be announced on the race day — keep an eye on our socials.

The Details

  • Entry fee: $40 for the evening
  • When: Wednesday, April 15, at 6:30 PM
  • Where: The Braking Zone — 855 West 1st Avenue, Eugene

Who Can Race?

Race nights are open to everyone — walk-ins, Members, and Challenge winners alike. You don’t need to be a seasoned sim racer to join. If you can keep it on track (most of the time), you’re welcome at the grid.

That said, please RSVP so we know you’re coming, even if you plan to use your free or prepaid membership hours. It helps us plan the sessions and make sure we have enough rigs ready to go.

Why Race Night?

Hotlap challenges are great for pushing your own limits, but there’s something completely different about racing side-by-side with someone. You have to manage your tires, think about overtaking strategy, and keep your cool when someone’s right on your bumper into Turn 1. It’s a different kind of fun, and we think you’ll love it.

Our plan is to make this a monthly event, so if April doesn’t work for your schedule, there will be more opportunities. But we’d love to see a packed grid for the inaugural one.
